What this is

Lexington SC Landscaper Guide is an independent directory covering 93 landscaper businesses serving Lexington, South Carolina and the surrounding area. It exists for homeowners and property managers who want a quick, honest way to compare local landscapers before picking up the phone: who does what kind of work, how they’re rated, and how they stack up against the competition down the road.

We’re not affiliated with any single landscaping company. We built this because sorting through scattered reviews and vague websites takes too long when you just want your yard sorted out.

Where the listing data comes from

Every business on this site starts with public information: registered business details, service areas, and the kind of work each company advertises. On top of that, we synthesize recent Google reviews for each business to get a sense of overall sentiment and recurring themes (things like reliability, cleanup quality, or communication). We do not republish review text. If you want to read what customers actually wrote, we link straight out to the business’s Google listing so you can see it in full and unfiltered.

How rankings work

Every ranking on this site comes from a published rubric applied to the data we collect, nothing else. No business can pay to move up the list, and no personal opinion of ours enters into it. The full breakdown of what we measure and how it’s weighted is on our /methodology/ page, and we’d rather you read that than take our word for it.

A business owner can flag incorrect facts, like a wrong phone number, a closed location, or a missing service, and we’ll fix it once verified. What an owner cannot do is edit their own score, sentiment summary, or ranking position. Those stay tied to the data and the rubric, full stop.

Sponsorship, kept separate

Some pages carry sponsored placements. These are always labeled “Sponsored,” displayed apart from the earned rankings, and never allowed to change a business’s actual position on the list. Paying to appear as a sponsor buys visibility, not a better score.

About the enquiries we pass along

Lexington SC Landscaper Guide is a directory and comparison resource first, but it also connects visitors with local providers. When you ask to be matched with a landscaper, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request, and we may receive a referral fee for that connection. This never touches scores or earned rankings; the quote page spells out the arrangement in plain terms before you submit anything.
